The FOCUS Foundation (Friends of Carmel Unified Schools) has distributed more than $3 million to support our students and schools, in addition to accumulating an endowment fund for future generations. In 2022, the FOCUS Foundation awarded over $50,000 in grants and our community is demonstrating a renewed commitment to excellence and philanthropy.
Founded in 1979, FOCUS is a California Public Education Foundation and non-profit organization that supports equitable quality education within the Carmel Unified School District. The FOCUS Foundation provides strategic leadership, launches evidence-based pilot programs, and funds new initiatives.
The Foundation invests in Academic Innovation, Holistic Health, Creative and Cultural Programs, and Ethical Stewardship.
